Product Overview
Blanketman - National Trust (Vinyl) One year on from the release of BlanketmanÙs debut single, ØTaking You With MeÙ, ØNational TrustÙ - produced by Luke Smith (Foals, LIFE) - has gone on to spawn a string of much-loved singles, from the urgent ØBeach BodyÙ, through the wonky and wordy ØHaroldÙ, to their grass-is-always-greener banger ØLeave The SouthÙ. In their wake the band have picked up much support from Steve Lamacq and Marc Riley at 6Music, plus a plethora of frothing words from a shedload of press tastemakers including So Young, Line Of Best Fir and DIY among others. Recent years have seen the band spearheading a burgeoning scene in Manchester as they gigged extensively throughout the city, performing their original brand of restless post-punk and cerebral indie-pop - all served with a sharper, more sardonic pop edge than many of their more po-faced peers. So sharp, in fact, that Steve Hanley (The Fall and Brix Smith and the Extricated) has performed live on stage with them a number of times already. TRACKLISTING 1. Beach Body 2. Leave The South 3.
