“…Blood flows… terror spills across the screen!” – 28 Days Later Analysis
IT’S A COLD DAY IN HELL
Six friends are enjoying a long weekend at an isolated cabin when an epic snowstorm interrupts their vacation, trapping them on the mountain. Legend has it that, in 1846, in the same location, a group of settlers became caught in the worst blizzard on record – they slowly went insane and turned on each other in what became a desperate, cannibalistic slaughter. As the six modern day friends begin seeing the ghosts of the settlers, confusion and fear sets in. But are these true demonic entities that haunt them or is it simply “cabin fever” bringing out their deepest fears and paranoia? Events are set in motion that cause the close friends to turn against each other as reality deteriorates around them.
