Product Overview
Ed Kuepper - Frontierland (Opaque Blue vinyl Vinyl) This is the first time Frontierland has been made available on vinyl. The original artwork has been reimaged and the newly remastered LP comes on a choice of black or opaque blue vinyl, in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.
Originally released in Australia, the USA and Britain in 1996 Frontierland has been out of print in all formats for over 25 years. Frontierland is an expansive and at times highly experimental pop album.
It’s a broad ranging work, with a sweeping sound pallet that includes horns, mandolin, mellotron, chromatic harmonica, loops and samples, violin, drums and octopad alongside Ed’s unmistakeable guitar and vocals. Allmusic acclaimed it as a work that singled Kuepper out as “one of the most valuable, idiosyncratic rock artists of the late 20th century.” Frontierland was nominated for Best Independent Release at the ARIA Music Awards in 1997.
