Kath Bloom & Loren Connors - Sand In My Shoe (Vinyl) The first of Chapter MusicÙs reissue series for New Haven, CT avant-folk legends Kath Bloom & Loren Connors, who recorded together between 1978 and 1984, releasing their incredibly haunting and beautiful folk records in microscopic editions with handmade sleeves. Bloom and Connors began playing together in the late Ù70s in Cincinnati, a pairing which saw BloomÙs elegant and occasionally stark vocals combining with ConnorsÙ fluid and almost avant-garde approach to the folk/blues guitar idiom. Both albums represented here have only ever been in print in tiny vinyl runs in the early Ù80s.
