With her recent release ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ debuting at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, Swift edges closer to having the equal amount of #1 albums which Madonna currently holds with 10 #1’s. The album was announced at the 2022 MTV Music Awards which made global headlines. A few hours after teasing this, she announced ‘Midnights’ and described the album: ‘We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back.
