Their first concert in Rome produced the biggest-selling classical album of all time, while their second concert in Los Angeles was immortalised as the most watched musical event in television history.

But '3' is certainly the magic number, as the world's most celebrated trio re-united for their third World Cup celebration concert.

On the evening of 10th July 1998, set against the imposing backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, José Carreras, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti were joined by the Orchestre de Paris and conductor James Levine for a spectacular evening of sight and sound, enjoyed by an enthusiastic audience of hundreds of thousands of spectators and a television audience estimated at nearly two billion viewers.

Marking the 25th anniversary of the event, Decca presents a special edition bringing together the original CD album and the complete concert on DVD, including artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
