Set in China, Hong Kong & Taiwan, East Side explores skateboarding and it's powerful influence on youth culture in Asia. Follow the lives and travels of three professional skateboarders on tour there; old school legend Kien Lieu, newschooler Satva Leung and Canadian Todd Tessier. The film combines the character development of classic sports documentaries with the extreme-sport action of underground skate videos giving the viewer compelling storytelling as well as killer skate action.
